Like most community radio stations in Australia, 2YYY relies upon the generous help of volunteers in the community. There are plenty of things to get involved with at the station. Not everyone who works in radio sits behind the microphone. In fact, there are plenty of people who choose not to go on air at all. If you have a specific skill or a great attitude, chances are you will fit right in. And if you have a personality for on air presenting that’s great too! Please consider joining us and help us to give back to the community. You will make new friends, work with like-minded people, learn a skill or two, and become a part of the community. All the training will be provided at no charge. 2YYY is the only 100% volunteer radio station in the district. It’s local radio for local people.
